My Photos at THE STASH
I’ve been following Jane’s blog, ever since I dropped off my photo prints at her new store. I was unable to attend the grand opening event this past Friday, but was quite pleased to read her entry, and view the photos she posted of the store.
The transformation is amazing! They really worked their behinds off, to get everything in order for the opening. When I was there on Wednesday, there were still boxes of artisan handiwork on the floor, curtains needed to be hung, and a beautiful tree was being painted on a wall. Now it looks like a warm and inviting shop, with everything displayed in a perfect place. I’m very excited for Jane, Rachael & Laura, and wish them much success in their new endeavor. Check out their blog entry about the grand opening!
Here is a photo that Jane said I could share here with all of you. I just love the way she has all of my prints grouped together. The yellow wall really makes them stand out nicely. It all looks so cheerful! (If you click on the photo, it will enlarge even more, so you can get a little closer look at the prints on display.)
If you live local, I hope you’ll stop by and check out all the beautiful and artful creations at The Stash. Fairbanks is full of many talented people!

Congratulations!!! Your pictures look great grouped together on the wall. They really stand out against that yellow wall. I’m sure you will sell all of them in no time.

It looks great! I went there today and took my own pictures with their permission. I hope they do well as a store.

Hello Susan,
I love the new look of your website/blog! Just the other day I was reading your website and thought it would be nice if I could comment on your story - you must have been reading my thoughts, hehe. It’s great, I’ve added it to my google reader so I’ll always be up-to-date!
Your photos look amazing in that shop, I love the yellow wall as well! Must be a great feeling to see your own work like that
Good luck with everything! I’m looking forward to new posts
Hanneke - in Sweden for a conference at the moment, so my blog is not very up-to-date!

[...] Now that the store is open, we have been spending some time cleaning, resting, delighting ourselves with the customers as they come through. So nice to hear all the great feedback from them. The Stashettes feel pretty honored to carry the artwork we have AND be able to represent the artists here in our community. As I sit here now, we have 37 different artists represented in the store. Pretty cool huh? Even some are writing in their blogs about us, see here… [...]
