Update

Filed under: Heartache — Susan Stevenson @ 6:30 pm

Lisa didn’t go home. The seizures are constant now, and she has to be closely monitored so the medication can be administered properly. My brother is disappointed, but is also relieved that she’s being well-cared for. Tonight, the hospital room overflowed with family and friends - offering support to Mike and saying their goodbyes to Lisa, who is - as Mike says - “comfortably numb”. I don’t think it will be too long before God releases her from her pain.

Thank you for your prayers.

  3. Susan, so very sorry to hear Lisa was not able to go home, but it is good that the hospital is keeping her as comfortable as possible. It seems whenever I think of my step-dad that passed away from cancer a few years ago, I always see a bluebird nearby….this has happened in Az., Ak., and here in Nevada so thankyou for sharing about your # 11:11 and Mike’s dove. I don’t know how old Lisa’s boys are, but perhaps grief counseling will be helpful at some point~my thoughts and continuing prayers are with all of you.
