Although Steve is retired now, we still feel a deep attachment to those still serving, and also have many friends who are still active duty and are currently deployed. My friend who started the gratitude journal entries for November thought it would be a good thing to take a moment and think of the blessings in our live, during the month that Thanksgiving takes place. I think it's a lovely idea, and I decided to do it too. It would be a great idea for you to introduce to your boys in homeschool. Often children have the most unique and wonderful ideas about what to be thankful for in their lives. I hope the calendar arrives soon. The mail's been moving pretty fast out of AK.
