Farewell, 2009!

Filed under: Everyday Life — Susan Stevenson @ 11:54 pm

Tonight, I went to the annual fireworks show up at UAF (University of Alaska Fairbanks). Steve didn’t want to go, and I made plans to go with my friend Lori. Unfortunately, Lori was sick with a migraine, so I took Sedona with me. It was cold (-20F), but that didn’t stop the fireworks!

Now I’m home and sipping champagne with my husband. 2010 is only 20 minutes away.

I took this photo tonight:

Happy New Year to all of you!

In the New Year,
may your right hand
always be stretched out in friendship,
but never in want.

I’m happy you had a lovely New Years Eve celebration at home with your beloved wife, John. :) That’s the best way to spend the last day of the year.

I was happy to be home with Steve after the fireworks. It was much warmer, and he is always the best company.

    Happy 2010!

    Love,
    Susan
